Basically; you just turn it on and point it at the night sky. The app then figures out where you are and the stats you are looking at (or planets for that matter) and overlays the various constellations over them.
It can also point out things like the Hubble telescope. .
Such a great little addition to enjoying a simple relaxing evening under the stars and a top notch marriage or rustic and high-tech.
